Amnesia storylines are not a fave of mine and neither is Slouching Towards Bethlehem. With the gang trying everything to not let Cordy know about the supernatural world she lives in to her turning to Connor of all people, I didn’t enjoy these parts of the episode. I did like seeing Lilah been Lilah by misleading Wes into thinking W&H were going after Cordy. Been with Wes hasn’t changed her. I didn’t like that her misleading lead to Lorne getting beaten and bruised. I liked the little things in this ep – the call back to Cordy singing a song she performed in season one of Buffy, Cordy calling Angel “Angie,” Gunn trying to deny what we as fans have been feeling for a while – that he’s just the muscle and sidekick but the writers won’t do anything to help his cause and lastly that despite this episode not been up to par that it might be leading to something good for this season what with Lorne completely freaking about what he read from Cordy.
