A couple “Untouched” follow up comments.

    1. I think Holland is talking up Lindsey just to motivate Lilah to slide more deeply into evil – it’s similar to what Lilah is doing to Bethany, except that it works. Holland is a talented manager at an evil organization, and is very good at figuring out how to drag Lilah and Lindsey further in.

    2. It felt like killing the dad was a light side/dark side choice – if Lilah had gotten Bethany to kill him, she’d have control of her powers but be on the oath to the dark side, but by confronting him and letting him live, she went the other way.

    Thoughts on “Dear Boy”

There is so much to like here, plenty of Darla, some hot girl on plastic hand action, a sense that Wolfram and Hart have a plan and a reason why they don’t just kill Angel and hey look it’s Drusilla.

Then why oh why did this episode not charm me on rewatch?

Two stupid actions by supposedly smart characters.

Angel: follow me on this. Angel thinks Darla is back and that she is up to something eeeevil. He’s so obsessed with her that he follows her right to the theater troupe house trap to lurk and spy and figure out what her nefarious scheme is. And what draws him into the house?

His very own femme fatale yelling for help.

    Stupid, Angel.

Number 2 our old friend Kate

Don’t you wish they hadn’t cut the scene right after Kate says “why did he kidnap that woman then?”

You know, the scene where Wesley, Cordelia and Gunn roll their eyes and all say “Um we just explained it. You know, that whole Darla thing?” And then Wesley cast the spell that banished Elisabeth Rohm to the Law and Order franchise.

Okay with that said, I still liked most of this so….
